The Biogen Community Lab in Research Triangle Park (RTP) is seeking a summer intern. The intern’s main responsibility will be to assist with running the Community Lab summer sessions for high school students and professional development for teachers. During the summer, the intern will perform basic laboratory preparation and clean up, test hands on genetics and microbiology labs, assist with the organization of the summer sessions and the related paperwork, as well as provide teaching assistance. Applicants should have a strong background in the biological sciences including at least basic lab experience in genetics and microbiology. Applicants must have excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail and an enthusiasm for working with high school students.
